Dr. Emily Ross
PhD Chemistry, MIT • Master Mentor
"I don't just teach science; I help brilliant minds find patterns in the chaos. Every neurodivergent child has a unique rhythm of learning, and my job is to dance to that beat."
About Dr. Ross
Dr. Emily Ross joined Young Scholars Academy with a mission to bridge the gap between high-level academic rigor and the emotional safety that 2e learners require. With a PhD in Chemistry from MIT and a background in neuroeducational research, she specializes in making complex scientific concepts accessible through narrative and hands-on discovery.
Having grown up as a twice-exceptional learner herself, Emily understands the frustration of being bored in a traditional classroom while simultaneously feeling overwhelmed by social expectations. Her classes are designed to be deep dives where curiosity is the only limit, and mistakes are celebrated as essential data points in the scientific process.

We've tried countless online courses, but nothing compares to the community here. The small class sizes mean my child isn't just a face on a screen-they're a valued member of a team.
